Clements Scout Ranch
Troop 57 will be climbing and rappelling at Sid Richardson Scout Ranch on Lake Bridgeport on August 20-22. Troop meetings in July and August will focus on knots and ropes and climbing and rappelling techniques.
Troop elections will be August 10. Qualifications for office can be found here.
October will be a busy month with the troop camping two consecutive weekends. Troop 57 will staff the Pumpkin Chunkin' Parent and Pal weekend at Camp Wisdom on October 22-24. The next weekend the troop will attend the Centennial Camporee at Dallas Executive Airport, October 29-31.

Troop 57 and Venture Crew 57 are members of the Gray Owl District of Circle Ten Council, Boy Scouts of America. In 2001, Venture Crew 57 began providing high adventure activities for Scouts who meet the age and experience requirements for participation. Both Troop 57 and Crew 57 are chartered by the First
United Methodist Church of Garland, Texas.
