Rifle and Shotgun Training

Most meetings in January and February will include rifle and shotgun training by Mr. Garrett. In order to attend the Rifle/Shotgun campout, Scouts must be trained. Mr. G. serves as the Circle 10 Council Rifle, Shotgun, and Black Powder Instructor Trainer.  Mr. G is a NRA Training Counselor and conducts adult Certified Instructor courses for Scouters around the Council.

Scouting for Food

Troop 57 will be collecting food for the needy on Saturday, February 20. Information on meeting time and location will be determined after February's Gray Owl District Roundtable. The need is great. Scouting for Food is the largest single food drive in the country. Neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet will prevent collections.
