Hurricane Katrina Victim Relief

September 4, 2005
Troop 57 Volunteer Service
Salvation Army Supply Warehouse

Members of Troop 57 volunteered their service to help clean, prepare, and stock the Salvation Army supply warehouse with items to be used in support of the victims of Hurricane Katrina. We spent the day there pulling weeds, sweeping floors, hauling trash, and when donations began arriving we unloaded and stacked them. We worked hard, but it felt good to be doing something real to help in this time of need.

Below are a few photos from the day. They are few in number because we spent the day working, not taking pictures.
