Pioneering Campout 2002 

March 22-24, 2002

Once again Troop57 journeys to Oleo Farms in Wills Point (at the invitation of our good friend Mr. McNair) for our annual Pioneering themed campout.

Or, as it has been affectionately named by our boys;
the Medieval Weapons Of Mass Destruction campout

In order to hone their lashing skills each group is issued pine and cedar poles, a bucket to use as a counterweight, and as much rope as they need to construct catapaults using only their lashing skills.

Each team builds a catapault and then competes to see which launches its water balloon the farthest.
