This year for summer camp, Troop 57 elected to go to Camp Constantin, a Circle Ten Council operated camp. The troop did its usual masterful job of participating in the merit badge

and advancement program. Most scouts earned more than one merit badge during the week, and several scouts also advanced in rank.
The most exciting thing about camp this year however was the level of participation in all of the extra activities available at camp. The troop conducted in-camp instruction in basic scout skills Axe yard for Totin' Chip classes, participated in the competition for cleaning and improving Patrol Flags our camp site The 57 Logo, and conducted daily in-camp flag ceremonies Flag Ceremony.
We also took part in optional activities each evening including the hike to Johnson's Peak

Volleyball the camp-wide volleyball tournament,

enjoying a fine meal in the dining hall Food!!! Food!!!

One night, the troop organized, mobilized, and polarized to protect its standing in the competition for the camp site award. 57 on alert
